Title: Blackburn
Author: Brynne Asher
Rating:

She’s my employee.

I’m her boss’s boss. Hell, I own the company.

Pursuing Lillian Burkette was a line I shouldn’t cross.

Until a work trip from hell changed everything.

I didn’t just step over the line. I annihilated the damn thing.

When it comes to her, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do. I’d even kill for her.

When they say the corporate world is a jungle … they have no idea.

Warning - Not appropriate for readers under the age of 18.

Blackburn begins when Lillian and Blackburn are on a business trip and something unthinkable happens. Now, these two must work together, and figure out how to save their lives. The problem, Lillian has no idea how to help, and her boss's boss can't seem to keep his head in the game with her there.  These two must figure it out before it is too late.

This book was a nice interesting read that had action, romance, a bit of drama as well. I think the only really bad thing about the book was it was short, so it felt like there wasn't a lot of heroine and hero interaction in detail. Other than that it was a good book with an interesting story and likable characters.
