Title: All the Ugly and Wonderful Things
Author: Bryn Greenwood
Rating:

As the daughter of a meth dealer, Wavy knows not to trust people, not even her own parents. Struggling to raise her little brother, eight-year-old Wavy is the only responsible "adult" around. She finds peace in the starry Midwestern night sky above the fields behind her house. One night everything changes when she witnesses one of her father's thugs, Kellen, a tattooed ex-con with a heart of gold, wreck his motorcycle. What follows is a powerful and shocking love story between two unlikely people that asks tough questions, reminding us of all the ugly and wonderful things that life has to offer.

This book is about a young girl named Wavy, who lives with some pretty horrible parents that don't take care of her. Now, she ends up finding Kellen one night, and these two form a strange sort of relationship.

As Wavy grows up, her feelings grow and so do Kellen's. Everyone in their world things that things are good between them, and they don't mind it. But, people on the outside don't see it that way, especially Wavy's aunt.

However, as life keeps throwing these two one horrible situation after the other, things start getting more and more intense between them. Wavy won't give up though, even if Kellen isn't in the right frame of mind for it.

This book blew me away. It was actually a very sweet, and beautiful love story that started out as a friendship, but moved to more. These two had an incredible bond that I thought was amazing!

Other than that I thought the plot line was pretty good, and I enjoyed the alternate point of views. The only thing that got a little old at times was it felt like the book progressed extremely slowly!

However, I still thought it was really good, and one heck of a wild journey.
