If anyone ever said being an adult was easy, they hadn't been one long enough.
Diana Casillas can admit it: she doesn't know what the hell she's doing half the time. How she's made it through the last two years of her life without killing anyone is nothing short of a miracle. Being a grown-up wasn’t supposed to be so hard.
With a new house, two little boys she inherited the most painful possible way, a giant dog, a job she usually loves, more than enough family, and friends, she has almost everything she could ever ask for.
Except for a boyfriend.
Or a husband.
But who needs either one of those?
Diana just moved to a new neighborhood with her two nephews she has custody of. She's busy taking care of them, and trying to do the best she can. She never imagined the circumstances that would happen to cause to have to take them, but she loves them all the same. But, when she meets her neighbor, things get a little more interesting. Now, she must work through the things going on and the neighbor who doesn't seem to like her, but she won't give up on being nice. This book was slightly different, yet still in some ways the same as this authors other books. I adored the heroine as always! And I totally loved the whole plot line of this story. It had a lot to do with Diana, a lot to do with her two kids, and a lot to do with a relationship being built between her love interest. I adored all of it, and I can't wait to read more of this authors work.
