Yeah. That was me, on my last date. Before you feel sorry for me you should know that I was the one telling the jokes. Jokes as in plural, because I didn’t stop with just one. Of course not.
Hi, I’m Chloe Scott. The most awkward single girl in the city. But I’m going to get it together. I am.
I’m going to learn how to date like a grown up. I’m going to have an orgasm not given to myself. I’m going to fall in love and live happily ever after.
Right after I get out of this interrogation room.
Trust begins when Chloe goes on a date with a guy she met online. She ends up thinking the guy is nice till he leaves her sitting in the stand alone and she goes to find him and ends up in an interrogation room. This is where she meets a FED named Boyd who knows he wants her right from the start, but Chloe has no idea.
These two start off pretty rocky, but once they find out they are connected by friends, they end up spending more time together and the attraction is undeniable. But, Chloe is totally awkward and unsure, while Boyd is more experienced and knows exactly what he wants and how to get it.
This book was extremely hilarious, and I loved the plot line. It was totally different than a lot of romance books out there. The hero was way older and more experienced, and while the heroine is young and awkward, she wasn't shy or innocent. So, that was totally different. Also, the way the hero handles the heroine was different as well, and it really brought life to this story and made it truly a breath of fresh air.
Overall, this book was totally good and totally awesome. I was laughing, and super into the whole story from start to finish! I have to say this is probably the best story of this whole series.
