Once one of the most noble and famous members of warden society, Dex’s fall from grace decades ago has left its mark on the once proud warrior. One night of spontaneous desire with the woman of his dreams leads to his possible redemption … but also to his possible death. Will old loyalties and new hopes be enough to save him? Or is his soul lost forever?
Chade is the third book in this series, and it begins with Cali learning more about Max, and how they are going to handle their new situation. Then one night Cali meets a mysterious stranger and things get even more complicated when they find out who he is.
This book was okay. I didn't like it as much as previous books, but it was still interesting. I enjoyed Cali's point of view, but I wanted more of Max and how she was handling things.
Other than that this one was okay and I liked it. It was a nice way to pass the time, and add in some more drama for Max and the rest of her friends.
