Title: Death of a Succubus
Series: The Succubus Executioner #5
Author: Kim Schubert
Rating:

Olivia is an exceptionally talented killer with a dark past and a questionable future. As the lead executioner for the Supernatural Council of the eastern United States, she patrols her territory delivering justice and death without remorse.

Olivia has been betrayed by her closest ally and fellow leader of the Supernatural Council, Grams. Logan, leader of the Shifters, has claimed her as his mate, twice.

But these events are small compared to the soul shattering realizations about to befall Olivia and reveal the truth of her origins.

The fifth book in the Succubus Executioner series blew me away! It begins with issue with Grams and Olivia being semi resolved. But, that's not all that happens. Something very horrible happens to Olivia, and now she must work with strangers to save her soul before it is too late.

Meanwhile, Logan is going to do everything he can to find those who are after Olivia, and get vengeance for her before it is too late. However, Logan must still deal with the kids, and more going on  as well.

I loved this book! I couldn't believe everything that happened in it! This one was filled with not only Olivia's point of view, but also Logan's! And that made it just so much better. I felt so bad for Logan at times! He handled things very well, and I couldn't believe everything that happened.

Olivia also made new allies and new enemies as well, but that's nothing new with her. But, these allies and enemies are much different from the ones she is normally use to. These people have a lot to do with her past.

And now, Olivia will fight to get back to Logan no matter what it takes.

I adored this book! I couldn't put it down once I started reading it. And now, I'm really looking forward to reading more!
