Title: Ninja at First Sight
Series: Knitting in the City #4.75
Author: Penny Reid
Rating:

From the USA Today Best Selling Author of ‘Truth or Beard’

What do a cynical former Marine and a sheltered former Olympic contender have in common?
Nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
He has a girlfriend and she’s never been kissed.
He’s sullenly sarcastic and she’s earnestly empathetic.
He can’t stop thinking about her.
She knows she should keep her distance.
Nevertheless, when opposites attract the results may be unexpected, but they’re also undeniably magnetic.
‘Ninja at First Sight’ is a standalone, prequel novella (for book 5 of the Knitting in the City Series, ‘Happily Ever Ninja’) and is 40k words.

This novella is the expanded origin story for Greg and Fiona. The first 16k words of this novella are from the short scenes included in 'Scenes from the City', which is no longer for sale.

This was a short story that introduces Greg and Fiona. You've probably read about them in some of the previous books since they've been in the knitting group. But this book is about how they began, and the next could be their happily ever after...

This one starts off with Fiona and Greg both going to college. He's very cynical and has a girlfriend. And Fiona has experience more than most at her young age. Now, she's ready to live life a different way. But everything changes when she and Greg can't seem to stay away from each other. These two grow close quickly and things start to happen.

This one was really good! I enjoyed it a great deal. It was funny, with great chemistry between Greg and Fiona. I adored them together, and honestly I love this one more than the next one! It was just that good!
