Welcome to Nocturne Falls, the town where Halloween is celebrated 365 days a year. The tourists think it's all a show: the vampires, the werewolves, the witches, the occasional gargoyle flying through the sky. But the supernaturals populating the town know better. Living in Nocturne Falls means being yourself. Fangs and all.
After seeing her maybe-mobster boss murder a guy, Delaney James assumes a new identity and pretends to be a mail order bride. What she doesn't know is her groom to be is a 400-year-old vampire.
Hugh Ellingham has only agreed to the set up to make his overbearing grandmother happy. His past means love is no longer an option. Except he never counted on Delaney and falling in love for real. Too bad both of them are keeping some mighty big secrets...
The Vampire's Mail Order bride begins when Delaney sees something she shouldn't have at work, and now her life is in danger. She ends up taking on someone else's identity and gets shipped to Nocturne Falls. This ends up turning her world upside down, she has no idea that the man she's falling for is a vampire. And when secrets get out it may be too late for Delaney and Hugh.
This was a very surprising good read. It had a great story line that captures you from the beginning and doesn't let you go till the last laugh in the end. It was a very sweet, funny, and fun story to read.
I also enjoyed both of the main characters as well. They brought a little bit of drama, and some sweet romance. This book overall was really good, and I look forward to reading more in this series!
