A detective with a secret lineage. An undercover Hunter with a bullet-proof soul. And a world made to pay for the sins of an angel...
Homicide detective Alexandra Jarvis answers to no one. Especially not to the new partner assigned to her in the middle of a gruesome serial killer case-a partner who is obstructive, irritatingly magnetic, and arrogant as hell. Aramael is a Power--a hunter of the Fallen Angels. A millennium ago, he sentenced his own brother to eternal exile for crimes against humanity. Now his brother is back and wreaking murderous havoc in the mortal realm. To find him, Aramael must play second to a human police officer who wants nothing to do with him and whose very bloodline threatens both his mission and his soul.
Now, faced with a fallen angel hell-bent on triggering the apocalypse, Alex and Aramael have no choice but to join forces, because only together can they stop the end of days.
Sins of the Angels begins when homicide detective Alex gets a horrible case. This time it's different though because her new partner Aramael isn't at all what he seems, and Alex can't seem to stay away from him, or believe what she's actually seeing with her own eyes.
Aramael knows things about Alex that she doesn't even know, and when it's his time to fight against his past again things start to go downhill, especially when he has feelings that he should have that relate to Alex.
This book was really good! I actually saw a review for the fourth book on Rabid Reads, and decided that I would check this one out! I'm really excited about reading more in this series, because this one was a great start!
I loved Alex, and Aramael. They were great together, and I felt like they brought a lot to the story. I also really enjoyed the whole story line as well. It kept me interested right from the start till the very end!
