Title: Queen of Shadows
Series: Throne of Glass #4
Author: Sarah J. Maas

Rating:

Everyone Celaena Sardothien loves has been taken from her. But she's at last returned to the empire—for vengeance, to rescue her once-glorious kingdom, and to confront the shadows of her past . . .

She will fight for her cousin, a warrior prepared to die just to see her again. She will fight for her friend, a young man trapped in an unspeakable prison. And she will fight for her people, enslaved to a brutal king and awaiting their lost queen's triumphant return.

Celaena’s epic journey has captured the hearts and imaginations of millions across the globe. This fourth volume will hold readers rapt as Celaena’s story builds to a passionate, agonizing crescendo that might just shatter her world.

Queen of Shadows begins when "Celaena" comes back. She's more than ready to get her friends back, and take down the king. But with Chaol causing problems, and others getting in the way it will be a lot harder than she originally thought! But with her friends at her side she will stop at nothing to take back her kingdom.

Queen of Shadows started of a little slow for me. But then it got extremely good! I couldn't put it down once I got passed the beginning. However, I'm sad to say I started hating Chaol a little bit even though he use to be one of my favorites, well kind of. I do however like Rowan a whole heck of a lot! He was awesome in this one, and I look forward to reading more about him and Celaena in the next book!

Overall this one was really good once you get past the slow beginning. It has a lot of action, some heartache, and even a little bit of humor as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this one, and I'm excited for the next one!
