Wedding plans are in full swing in Bloody Mary, Virginia. J.J. Graves is ready to walk down the aisle and start a new life—despite the fact her father is still on the loose, blood money is stashed in her closet, and an unidentified body is missing from her parents’ bunker.
But it isn’t her personal life that’s threatening her chance to say “I Do.” It’s the remains of a brutally murdered corpse found buried beneath a prize-winning rose garden. And the message attached leaves no bones about it—the body is meant for J.J. The clock is ticking as J.J. and Jack search for a killer before he becomes the ultimate wedding crasher.
Down and Dirty begins with J.J. and Jack getting married in just a few short days. Both of them are excited to get married, but not about the wedding, it just isn't their type of thing. But to please their friends and family they must go on with it. However, when some horrible murders start turning up things go from bad to worse for these two. They have to figure it out before the time runs out. This book was very enjoyable. It was a little short, but it captured all of J.J's quirks perfectly. And I adored getting to see more of J.J and Jack together. Not only that it has a very nice mystery involved that kept me interested the whole book!
