The ride of her life . . . Once upon a time, Carissa Teodoro believed in happy endings. Money, marriage, motherhood: everything came easy---until she woke up to the ugly truth about her Prince Charming. Now a struggling, single mom and stranded by a flat tire, Carissa's pondering her mistakes when a vaguely familiar knight rides to her rescue on a ton of horsepower.
Climb on and hold tight . . .
In high school, Carson Steele was a bad boy loner who put Carissa on a pedestal where she stayed far beyond his reach. Today, he's the hard-bodied biker known only as Joker, and from the way Carissa's acting, it's clear she's falling fast. While catching her is irresistible, knowing what to do with her is a different story. A good girl like Carissa is the least likely fit with the Chaos Motorcycle Club. Too bad holding back is so damned hard. Now, as Joker's secrets are revealed and an outside threat endangers the club, Joker must decide whether to ride steady with Carissa---or ride away forever .
Ride Steady begins when Carissa has a flat tire on the side of the highway with her young son along with her. The only person to stop and help was a biker named Joker. Joker knew Carissa once upon a time, but things change, he changed, and now she's in need of some help. But he has no idea how to be around her when he can't stop thinking about her. Once Carissa slips inside Chaos, and Joker's life things get a lot more complicated. They each have baggage, but each of them also just want to live the life they were meant to live.
This book was really good. I enjoyed the plot line for the most part, even though towards the end I was hoping for a little more action. Other than that I loved it. Carissa was an awesome heroine. She was very sweet, caring, and wasn't the type to play games. What see was what you got from her in a very good way. And Joker, while at first I was a little frustrated with him I really started to like him after that first little hurdle. He didn't exactly try to take over everything, he just tried to be there for Carissa when she needed him. And Carissa's son Travis was awesome as well!
I really enjoyed this one. It had great characters, interesting plot, and a lot of soul!
