J.J. Graves is about to find out when her past comes back to haunt her. Too bad her life was just beginning to seem normal.
J.J. and Jack set off together on a mission to uncover the secrets of J.J.'s felonious parents. The only thing standing in their way is a corpse hidden in her parents' bunker, a cop with a bad attitude, an FBI agent with a grudge, and a woman from Jack's past who knows more than she should.
The third book in the series begins right after the second one ends. J.J. has seen a ghost and now she's got to figure out how to tell Jack. Not only that, but some things in Jack's past are finally coming to light, and a woman who he use to be with is also coming back in the works. But J.J. and Jack aren't giving up on each other, they are going to fight strong against this new threat, and figure out who is after them before it's too late.
This one was okay, but not as good as the previous books. I was glad we got to learn a little bit about Jack when he was away from J.J. But I really didn't like the fact that another woman came along, it wasn't that it caused problems or anything I just felt it added nothing to the story, but some one instant weird drama, that ended almost as soon as it began. However, I really did like seeing J.J. step up to plate to be there for Jack when he needed her. It was a nice change. I still look forward to reading more in this series, but this one just wasn't as great as the previous books.
