Title: Echoes of Scotland Street
Series: On Dublin Street #5
Author: Samantha Young
Rating:

Shannon MacLeod has always gone for the wrong type of man. After she drifted from one toxic relationship to the next, her last boyfriend gave her a wakeup call in the worst possible way. With her world shattered, she’s sworn off men—especially those of the bad-boy variety.

Cole Walker is exactly the sort that Shannon wants to avoid—gorgeous, tattooed, charming, and cocky. But his rough exterior hides a good man who’s ready to find “the one.” He’s determined to pull Shannon from her self-imposed solitude and win her heart.

As Shannon opens up in the face of Cole’s steady devotion, the passion between them ignites to blazing levels. But when Shannon’s past comes back to haunt her, her fears may destroy the trust Cole has built between them—and tear them apart for good…

This book begins when Cole and Shannon meet for the first time at fifteen. They each see something in the other that they haven't every seen before. There's a chemistry already there even at such a young age, but it was not to be.
Nine years later after Shannon has experienced lots of horrible men, she's decided she won't do it again. But it all comes crashing to a halt when at her new job she realizes that the very same Cole from years ago, is the now working with her.
Cole remembers her at once and decides that it is time to try to get with her, but after a lot of misunderstandings. Neither one are really sure if that should happen or not.
These two have a whole lot of issues to work through if they wish to be together.

This book was really really good! It's one of my favorites of this series now. I loved Cole and Shannon together, even though there were a few things I didn't really understand that happened towards the end. Other then that I loved the story, and all of the characters from previous books as well! It was amazing to get to see the family so happy, and see Cole and Shannon come together as well! I love this series and this book was just as great as all of the previous ones!
