Title: No Limits
Series: Ultimate #1
Author: Lori Foster
Rating:

A surprise inheritance reunites a mixed martial arts fighter with the woman he's never forgotten in the first in a smoldering new series from New York Times bestselling author Lori Foster…

Cannon Colter is quintessential hero material: chiseled jawline, shredded body—the works. He's also the guy who rescued Yvette Sweeny from kidnappers, only to put an end to her romantic dreams. These days, she's older, smarter, determined to face whatever life throws her way. Even the prospect of sharing a house and business with Cannon.

Cannon knew Yvette wanted him three years ago. But she was young—and some things are worth waiting for. Thrown together by her grandfather's legacy, he realizes how deep Yvette's scars really go, and how much danger lurks in their quiet town. As pent-up desire explodes between them, protecting her becomes the only fight that matters. And he'll break all the rules to do it…

No Limits begins when Cannon goes back to the town he left behind because an old friend passed away. The problem is the old friend has left him some things, but he also left his granddaughter Yvette half of everything he left Cannon. Now Cannon is back with the girl who was just a girl years ago, but who is now a woman. The problem is Cannon is having a hard time convincing her he really wants her. And Yvette has quite a few problems of her own, including trouble coming to find her again.

No Limits wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. I sort of got annoyed with Cannon at times. He was trying to make Yvette see she was the only one, but then he would kind flirt with other women. It wasn't anything that bad, but it sorta just bugged me. But mainly the book was very interesting and I liked the plot line. The characters while annoying at times were quite entertaining. And now I do look forward to reading more in this series.
