Title: Lead
Series: Stage Dive, #3
Author: Kyle Scott

Stay up all night with the sexy rockers in Stage Dive, the epic New Adult series from New York Times bestselling author Kylie Scott, author of Lick and Play.

As the lead singer of Stage Dive, Jimmy is used to getting whatever he wants, whenever he wants it, whether it's booze, drugs, or women. However, when a PR disaster serves as a wake-up call about his life and lands him in rehab, he finds himself with Lena, a new assistant to keep him out of trouble.

Lena's not willing to take any crap from the sexy rocker and is determined to keep their relationship completely professional, despite their sizzling chemistry. But when Jimmy pushes her too far and Lena leaves, he realizes that he may just have lost the best thing that ever happened to him.

Lead begins with Lena losing her current job but getting offered a position she isn't sure she will be able to do. But that all changes when she ends up spending more and more time with the lead singing of Stage Dive, Jimmy. Jimmy is an arrogant, selfish, asshole who acts like he only cares about himself. But Lena is learning the truth. Underneath all that hard edge is a man who cares about those closest to him dearly, and he's been hurt several times before by people who are suppose to stand by him. Now Lena doesn't know what to do.. She's falling for him, but she's been through heartache before and knows this isn't a good thing at all. But she can't seem to stop herself.

This book was very very funny! That was my favorite thing about it. I haven't read any previous books before this one so I didn't understand any of the side characters but I was still able to understand this story. And I actually liked the two main characters, and the humor. But I felt like something was missing. I also had a hard time getting into the story in the beginning. It was kind of frustrating the slow pace it seemed to go, but it picked up later on in the story. This one was very interested for the most part, and I loved the characters, but it wasn't exactly great. However, it wasn't bad either. I did like the story.

  1. You haven't read the others ? Do it ! You're missing out on something - especially Mal's story (#2) ;)

    1. I might read them soon. Did you like this one? Are the others better than it?
