Mason Kade is not known to be nice. He is ruthless, manipulative, and unforgiving. Most will say that he is an a**hole and he is to those that cross him or cross his loved ones. However, he does not want to be who he is. He does not enjoy hurting others, but there is no limit to the lengths he will go to protect himself and his brother.
This is the story of how he came to be and this is why so many love Mason Kade.
Mason is the prequel to Fallen Crest High, and is all in Mason's point of view. It begins with us seeing how Mason and Logan act around their parents. Then they find out their parents are finally getting a divorce after years of their father cheating on their mother. She leaves Mason and Logan with their father and moves to LA. Now Mason, and Logan have to go on and figure out how to continue with their life now that it's so different. These two become really close as they face all of the difficulties ahead, but there is another one that neither of them expected.. And that was their father remarrying a woman who has a daughter their age....
In this story we learn pretty much how Mason and Kate get together, what happens with Tate and Logan, and the Marissa problem. This book will shows us a new insight into Mason, and how he thinks. After reading this book all of my fears that Mason would cheat on Sam in Fallen Fourth Down are completely gone. I don't feel that way about him at all now, he was too hurt by what his father did to do that to someone else. And it was really amazing to see the bond between him and Logan even more than we already do in the other books. I really liked this one, and I'm so glad I read it because if gives a different perspective on everything that has happened in the other books. Now I just wish we could read Fallen Crest High from Mason's point of view. And for Fallen Fourth Down to hurry up and be published!
