Welcome everyone to Movie Monday!

This is a meme we have created to share our recently watched movies/t.v. shows with each other.

You can do it any way you like, and you don't have to have any kind of review or anything just share some information about it.

Comment, and add your link to the linky at the bottom of the post!

Have a good week, and enjoy your movies.

Title: Twister
Writer: Michael Crichton, and Anne-Marie Martin
Director: Jon De Bont
Cast: Jo Harding, Bill Harding, Dustin Davis, Melissa Reeves, and Jonas Miller
Stars: Helen Hunt, Bill Paxton, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Jami Gerts, and Cary Elwes

TV weatherman Bill Harding is trying to get his tornado-hunter wife, Jo, to sign divorce papers so he can marry his girlfriend Melissa.

But Mother Nature, in the form of a series of intense storms sweeping across Oklahoma, has other plans.

Soon the three have joined the team of stormchasers as they attempt to insert a revolutionary measuring device into the very heart of several extremely violent tornados.

Twister begins when Jo's husband comes to try to get her to sign the divorce papers so he can marry his girlfriend. Jo still has feelings for Bill, but something just isn't working out. Jo is bound and determined to fight these storms and get help to people who need it...

During this Bill and his girlfriend decide to go with Jo and her crew to see if their machine works in the tornadoes. But there may be a whole lot more problems then they originally thought.

Twister is one of my all time favorite movies. I love this movie! I love the emotions we get to see from Jo, and between Bill and Jo.
Then I just love the thought of chasing tornadoes even though it is very dangerous. I love everything about this movie, and it will forever and always be on my top five favorites.

It may actually be my number one favorite!

  1. Awesome pick. My wife and I saw this in the theater when it came out- so good on the big screen. A favorite of ours too... Jo, Bill and Jamie Gertz's character are all great, and I liked Jo's crew, too. So much fun...

    1. That's awesome you got to see it in theaters. I actually read that when it came out in theaters in 1996 at a drive in movie I think in Oklahoma (Don't remember the place exactly) there was a tornado that hit the drive in movie theater when Twister was playing. Soooo it is an urban legend that the movie is actually cursed.. That's another reason why I like it so much!

Not to mention I think that is the best performance Helen Hunt has ever done, and she just rocked Jo!
