Title: Weak For Him
Series: Weakness, #1
Author: Lyra Parish
Rating: 2 Shooting Stars

"Have you heard the saying, 'sex sells'? Well, I'm the supplier."

 Finnley Felton sells sex.
 Jennifer Downs is a virgin.
With the help of lady luck, the two meet.

 Money. Bright lights. Sex.

Jennifer is made an offer: sell her virginity to the highest bidder and transform into one of Finnley's girls. But she finds herself weak for him, and doesn't fully realize what she's agreed to until it's too late.

Will she rise to the challenge and play by the rules in a land where money is king and love is prohibited? Or will she lose herself and values in the attempt?

Weak for him is not considered a "dark" read, but does have language, adult subject matter, and s-e-x-ual situations.

Weak for Him begins when Jennifer's parents die and she ends up selling her house and moving to Vegas. She thinks she has it all figured out until she's late for her interview, and the company won't give her a chance. Then she accidentally runs into Finnley Felton and he offers her a job. Things actually go from bad to worse when she realizes that he wants to hire her to be a "escort" basically and sell her virginity. Now Jennifer has to figure out if she's going to run back to Texas, or stay in Vegas and become a new Jennifer...

I couldn't stand this book. I hate saying that, but it is the truth. I just didn't have a connection with any of the characters. Not only that but I felt like the story started at the beginning being good and interesting then it just sort of fizzled out. I don't want to give away too many details because it will ruin the story. But more towards the end I was really confused about things, especially when Finnley did that with Jennifer's best friend. Then that Nancy woman. And there was the weird thing with Jesse. So I was seriously not understanding why a whole lot of this stuff was going on when it didn't really seem to have a point. Then I felt like we really didn't know half the time what either main character was feeling. Over all the book just wasn't for me. I felt like it was mainly just sex that was all there was too it. And really that wasn't much sex so much as messing around so even that was a downside as well. I won't be continuing this series either.
