A Reason To Breath doesn't give a whole lot to go on from the blurb. I mean in way it does, but then also in a way it doesn't. Like for instances Jennifer lost her husband a little more than a year ago. And her daughter is off to college now. So Jennifer decides to go to Colorado like she's been dreaming about. Once she gets to the town after about four months living there she stumbles across a crime scene with a woman who was murdered. The problem is she might have been murdered by a serial killer, and now the whole town is wondering what's going to happen next.. or Who is next.. While Jen decides to investigate this for a story she meets the town Sheriff and sparks fly. He doesn't want her to get involved in this story because she could end up hurt or worse dead. So he gets bossy, but Jennifer isn't going to listen to the Sheriff.. But eventually these two start to form a bumpy, funny, beautiful romance. Now they just have to find the killer before more bad things happen.
I really liked this book. I thought it was very well written, and the plot was awesome. At times I did feel that some of the dialogue was forced or stilted. But other than that it was really good. I loved Jennifer and Jack they were an awesome couple. Even though I felt like we should have experienced a little more getting to know you between them I still thought they were awesome together. I also liked Jen's daughter, and all of the other side characters. They added a whole lot of awesome to the story. Then the epilogue was sweet and epic as well. Not to mention one of the funniest parts was the "put in jail" part. I'm not going to say more because I don't want to ruin the story. But I do recommend you reading it. And seriously that part was laugh out loud funny! Now I hope there will be more than one book.
