A Christmas To Remember is a collection of Christmas short stories by several different authors. My review is going to be a little different due to this type of book. I will post what I thought of each story, then as the book over all. I have to say though I loved the idea of all of these authors putting short stories together, especially for Christmas. It was every enjoyable, and fun to read. I got to experience the difference between each story, and each author in a new way all in the same book!!

Jill Shalvis, Dream a Little Dream: This one was about a fire fighter who wants the one woman who is afraid to let herself out there so she pushes him away. But soon after something happens she wants to add a little Christmas surprise to try to win him back. This was a very cute story. It had me laughing, and smiling real big. I loved both of the characters, and the puppy was adorable!

Kristen Ashley, Every Year: This one was about Tabby, and Shy's first Christmas together. If you've previously read their book "Own The Wind" then you should figure out all of what has happened with them. But in this Christmas special we get to see Tack, Tyra, Rush, the two little boys Cutter, and Rider (awesome names) and of course Tabby, Shy, and Shy's brother Landon. This is a joyous Christmas with all of them there. But it is also a Christmas that Landon and Shy actually get to spend with a family. I won't go into a lot of details about this because I don't want to ruin it, but it was a beautiful sight to see this wonderful family all together. And Cut and Ride are freaking cute as heck! I loved them.

Hope Ramsay, Silent Night: In this Christmas story we find Maryanne a young woman who has just lost her job, and home with a little boy trying to find a place to start over. She stumbles across a place she thought was her cousin's home, but indeed it was not. The man who actually owns the house catchers Maryanne in the barn with her little boy. He doesn't understand at first what she's doing there, but once he realizes he invites her into have dinner with him and to spend the night out of the cold. These two quickly feel at ease with each other, and start to talk about their pasts. We don't really get to see what happens after this one night, but we do know that they view each other has a miracle, and wish to start seeing each other. I liked this one, but I felt it didn't really explain a whole lot of what was going to happen with the characters. But other than that it was a sweet story.

Molly Cannon, Have Yourself a Messy Little Christmas: Lincoln is a bachelor who is living in his parents old house. It is currently a mess, but he doesn't have time to clean it up because of all the work he's been doing. His mother hires a professional organizer to come in and get the house ready for them to come home for Christmas. As the organizer and Lincoln spend more time together, feelings grow and eventually lead to a sweet romance. I really enjoyed this one. I thought it was super cute, and funny at times.

Marilyn Pappano, A Family for Christmas: After Ilena lost her husband a year ago, she and her six month old son will be spending Christmas just the two of them. That is until the new doctor comes into town and he and Ilena start seeing each other. This story was sweet, but sort of sad in a way as well. It shows us that we can lose someone but never forget them. But even though we lost them, we can also move on and continue to be happy. I loved both of the characters in this story, and I loved them together as a couple as well!

So that is my review for each short story! I congratulate all of the author's who worked so hard for this Christmas book. It was a very nice read, and perfect start for this Christmas season (even a little early, but still) Now I look forward to more books by these authors as well!
