Trace of Fever is about Trace doing an undercover job trying to take down some human traffickers. While undercover he runs into a major complication. A young woman who is claiming to be Trace's bosses daughter. Trace instantly knows she's not what she appears to be, and that she has another agenda. But he has to figure it out quickly in order to keep her safe. Not only that but he didn't realize he would have such a major attraction to her either. And Priss does have another agenda. She wants to kill her so called father. She's not really sure he is her father, but she feels he needs to pay for his crimes, and she is going to be the one who makes him pay. But she never counted on the man having a "good bodyguard." And now she has a major attraction to Trace as well. And he seems to be wanting to help her and keep her safe. These two have to stay undercover, and try to figure out what they are feeling for each other as well.
Trace is an awesome character. He's a major alpha male who is capable of protecting those he cares about. And Priss is someone who hasn't had it easy growing up, and now she's out to make right some of the things that were wrong. These two are perfect for each other. They each have a fierceness to them, and major sexual chemistry as well. Also the ending of the book was perfect as well. it's setting up the next book perfectly! Now I can't wait to read the next book!
