Title: Hidden Away
Series: KGI, #3
Author: Maya Banks
Rating: 4 Shooting Stars

A man who shoots first and asks questions later…

Most people would take an all-expenses-paid trip to the beach in a heartbeat. Garrett Kelly only accepts to keep tabs on Sarah Daniels, who’s in hiding after witnessing a murder by Marcus Lattimer, her half-brother—and a personal enemy of KGI. This gig may be beneath a disciplined soldier like Garrett, but if he gets a shot at Lattimer, it will all be worth it…

 …and the ultimate moving target.

But Garrett hadn’t counted on falling for Sarah. He’d considered seduction as a tactical maneuver, but when he glimpses Sarah’s dark past, he feels an urgent desire to keep her safe—even after she disappears on him. Garrett doesn’t know exactly who, or what, Sarah’s running from, but whatever it is, she’s running for her life…

Hidden away begins with Garrett getting an assignment that means bringing down a traitor, and a man who shot him six years ago. But the problem is he has to get close to this man's sister to wait for him to show up. Normally that wouldn't be a problem but 1) Garret is better with blowing things up than women. 2) The minuet he sees Sarah, it becomes personal because she becomes his.

With all of these problems going on Garret as a lot to deal with. But not just that he realizes that someone may be after Sarah to hurt her, and it could possibly why she has fear in her eyes, and is constantly skittish. Sarah on the other hand doesn't know the bad things her brother has done. She just knows he's trying to protect her, and that she has a hard time trusting after that was horribly broken by a man she worked with over a year ago. But now on the run to try to keep herself safe, and her brother safe she's going out of her mind. And when she sees Garrett it's the first time she's shown any interest in the opposite sex since that horrible incident so long ago. But when she learns to trust Garrett it could all come down around her when she finds out the truth about his "job."

I love Garrett! I thought he was awesome. But I just didn't think Sarah was right for him. I mean in some ways I guess she was perfect, but then I just thought he would be with someone who wasn't as afraid. But she did show a lot of spunk at certain times, and I truly felt bad for through out the book for what she had to go through. It really was horrible. But I just never felt much of the connection between the two of them. It didn't feel me up. But other than that the rest of the story was interesting. And I loved seeing the stuff that happened with Rusy. I really like her, and I hope she gets her own book as well. So I have to say I really liked this one, and it was very good but it wasn't as good as previous books. Now on to the next book!
