Title: Echoes At Dawn
Series: KGI, #5
Author: Maya Banks
Rating: 4 Shooting Stars

Grace Peterson is desperate, in hiding, and on the run after escaping a shadowy group determined to exploit her extraordinary ability to heal others. Her only lifeline—an unerring telepathic ability she shares with her sister—has been severed, leaving her alone and vulnerable. And time is fast running out...

Enlisted to bring Grace home is Rio, relentless member of the KGI. He’s unprepared for his reaction to this wounded, damaged woman, and he’s fiercely determined to protect her from those who nearly destroyed her. In Rio, she finds a safe haven, and for the first time...hope. But the mission is far from over. The danger Grace has eluded is fast closing in. And now it’s pitching two lovers toward an unfamiliar horizon, with no place left to hide.

Echoes at Dawn begins with Rio trying to track down Grace. She's being hunted by people because of her "abilities." But Rio promised her sister to brig her home safe. But Grace has been through so much she's on her last thread to survive, and she may not be able to hold much longer. Rio finally catches up to her, and ends up bringing her to his house where she can recover. And while there Rio and Grace start to form a beautiful relationship.. But these two can't have hearts and flowers any time soon, they still have to get away from the threat that's on its way to take Grace. Rio will do whatever he can to protect her, and Grace feels the same way about him. These two will fight with every thing they have to finally get to be together where it's safe...

This book was very good. I loved how we got to see a softer side to Rio, and get to see more about his past. And Grace was a lot different than I thought she was going to be. She was extremely fierce, and every time she got knocked down she would pick herself back up. It was also nice to see Shea again, and to see the bond these two have. I loved Grace's abilities as well it was very interesting to see what she was capable of. And now I can't wait to read more in this series. But I'm super excited to see Donovan and Joe's stories. I can not wait for them!
