Tears of Tess begins when Tess and her boyfriend take a vacation to Mexico. Tess has been having some problems with with Brax lately. She feels like the don't really connect completely anymore, so she's hoping things will change in Mexico.
But when one mistake is made, Tess is taken.
She is now to be sold as a sex slave.
She's sold to Q.
Q who treats her very differently than her other kidnappers did. This man known as as Q wants to know everything about Tess. To him she is different than any other woman he's brought to his home before. Tess on the other just wants to go home, she doesn't understand the pull she feels to Q, or the fact that there is a major attraction between them. She believes its wrong because he "bought" her. But the problem is, he's never really hurt her, or forced her to do things she didn't really want to do. Any thing she's done, she wanted to. But Tess still feels the need to leave especially after Q makes a huge mistake which leads to Tess being hurt very badly. Now all she can think about is getting away from this, and back home to Brax. Tess comes to realize things aren't always as they seem she has already made choices that may changer her forever.
I have to say I really liked the book. However, the main thing that bothered me was some of the issues with Q. It just didn't make sense for him to have her as his "slave." Other than that I enjoyed the rest of the book. I loved how Tess was very fierce and wasn't ever going to give up. Also the side characters were interesting as well even though we do not learn a whole lot about them. This book has a whole lot of taboo to it. It's very emotional, dark, and interesting. I was never bored with the story, and I'm very much looking forward to the next one in this series. I really love Q and Tess, especially together. The whole book over all was good. It was written very well, and I look forward to the next book as well.
