Title: Hey There, Delilah
Series: A Taboo Love, #1
Author: M.D Saperstein, Andria Large.

Hi, my name is Delilah Sampson, and I am a self proclaimed “frump girl.” My world came crashing down the day I walked in on my boyfriend having sex with my boss, rendering me single and jobless. A new job fell into my lap as the secretary of the gorgeous, rich, powerful, and mighty cocky controlling partner at Santino Law Firm. I spend my days trying to please a demanding boss, keeping my lustful thoughts to myself. Until one night, when my best friend drags me to a club, and I fall for a man whose true identity I will never know.

See, at Club Masquerade, everyone wears a mask and a nametag with a fake name. Also, on your nametag is a number that you are assigned when you come into the club, which is linked to an in-house messaging system; no one is permitted to speak, which ensures that identities are kept secret. I meet my lover every Saturday at 9 pm sharp. We text and email constantly when we are not together, and I have somehow fallen in love with him.

But, then there is Nick Santino. He is the partner that I can’t keep my eyes off. Unfortunately, the only reason he hired me is because he is not attracted to me and all my frump glory. Fortunately, for me, I am a kick ass secretary, so he keeps me around. Like many men in his position, Nick is used to getting what he wants, when he wants it; all without commitment, of course.

So when he finds a woman that he is both physically and emotionally attracted to, he finds himself in unchartered territory – love. And I can do nothing but be jealous from the sidelines – lusting for a man I can’t have, and loving a man I can’t know.

Hey there, Delilah is book 1 of the Taboo Love series, in which we tackle the boss/secretary relationship. Each book will be a stand alone with a HEA, but will have a few reoccurring characters.

Hey There, Delilah begins when Delilah catches her boyfriend cheating on her with her "witch" of a boss. After she loses her boyfriend, and her job all on her birthday she's not sure what she should do now. Until she gets the chance to get an interview the very next day at Santino law firm. When she gets to the interview she doesn't think she will get the job because she is the "frumpy" girl out of all of the "tall, blond bimbos." But surprise surprise she gets the job. Now all she has to do is work hard, and ignore the major attraction she has to her boss Nick.

Nick on the other hand is a major ladies man. He never plans on settling down, and he has several relationships with women. But when he meets Delilah things start to change for him. He's not so much attracted to the way she looks at first, but then as he gets to know her he can't stop thinking about her.

As these two find a weird sort of work friendship they both take a night out to go to the strange Club M. Here at this club you can not speak to the person you are with, and you must always wear a mast. So neither of them know who they are having an intimate relationship with until months later...

I won't say more about that, you will just have to read to find out what happens. However I will say over all this book was okay. I loved the name, and all of the stuff that included the song. But I just got a little frustrated with a few things that went on.

One instance is towards the end when Delilah gets mad at Nick again for something that happened. I however think she overreacted about this, and I do not understand her reasoning at all. Because to me Nick didn't do anything wrong, he was played.

Anyways other than that I just didn't feel a major connection for the characters. I honestly had a hard time getting any kind of feeling out the "romance" between Nick, and Delilah, at least till the end that is. The ending was perfect, and I really enjoyed it. Not sure if I will read the next book, but I might. I was glad I read this one it was okay, and enjoyable.
