Title: The Indigo Spell
Series: Bloodlines, #3
Author: Richelle Mead
Rating: 4 Shooting Stars

In the aftermath of a forbidden moment that rocked Sydney to her core, she finds herself struggling to draw the line between her Alchemist teachings and what her heart is urging her to do. Then she meets alluring, rebellious Marcus Finch--a former Alchemist who escaped against all odds, and is now on the run. Marcus wants to teach Sydney the secrets he claims the Alchemists are hiding from her. But as he pushes her to rebel against the people who raised her, Sydney finds that breaking free is harder than she thought. There is an old and mysterious magic rooted deeply within her. And as she searches for an evil magic user targeting powerful young witches, she realizes that her only hope is to embrace her magical blood--or else she might be next.

Populated with new faces as well as familiar ones, the Bloodlines series explores all the friendship, romance, battles, and betrayals that made the #1 New York Times bestselling Vampire Academy series so addictive—this time in a part-vampire, part-human setting where the stakes are even higher and everyone’s out for blood.

In this third addition to the series, Sydney is having more conflicting emotions than ever before. She doesn't know who to trust any more, and she's not sure what she believes.

This one is about Sydney finding herself. She has to help out Marcus Finch, the ex-Alchemist, to figure out information. And her human witch teacher says she's in danger, so they have to help save young human girls before a witch tries to kill them.

Not only that Sydney has to worry about what she really wants to believe now, and what she is "suppose" to believe. And she has Adrian constantly trying to win her over. He even claims he knows how she feels, she just won't admit it.

This book was awesome. I really enjoyed it. It shows Sydney's journey to really figuring out who she is, and what she believes. And what she is willing to do for love, and friendship. Although at the end I got really nervous for the next book, because of the new people who show up. I'm really excited, and nervous about the next book. But I am some what happy with how this one ended, it wasn't really a cliffhanger, and I was pretty happy with the mood that was left. So I highly recommend this book, and this series. It is one of the best paranormal series out there.
