Title: Storm
Series: Elemental, #1
Author: Brigid Kemmerer
Rating: 4 Shooting Stars

Earth, Fire, Air, Water – they have more power than you dream.

Ever since her ex-boyfriend spread those lies about her, Becca Chandler is suddenly getting all the guys—all the ones she doesn't want. Then she saves Chris Merrick from a beating in the school parking lot. Chris is different.Way different: he can control water—just like his brothers can control fire, wind, and earth. They’re powerful. Dangerous. Marked for death.

And now that she knows the truth, so is Becca.

Secrets are hard to keep when your life’s at stake. When Hunter, the mysterious new kid around school, turns up with a talent for being in the wrong place at the right time, Becca thinks she can trust him. But then Hunter goes head-to-head with Chris, and Becca wonders who’s hiding the most dangerous truth of all.

The storm is coming .

Storm starts out with Becca leaving a self defense class and stumbling upon two guys beating one guy up. She knows she has to do something to help, so she uses her car to try to scar them off of the guy laying on the ground blooded. But when she recognizes the guy on the ground things change. These people who were hurting Chris are serious about being after him, and Becca wants no part in that. Not to mention she might have feelings for him. But things change when he tells her it is safer for him to stay away from her, and a new guy named Hunter shows up.

Chris is one out of his three brothers who has the Elemental power. His is water. And when he has to help Becca get away from the people who are after his family she finds out about his gift, and his brothers. But Chris wants to keep her safe, even though he has feelings for her so he tells her to stay away. When he did that he never imagined what would come out of it.

This book has lots of action, drama, supernatural, and whole lot more. I love how it switches from Becca's point of view, to Chris'. And I love all of Chris' brothers as well. However the only thing I didn't like was Hunter. I know why he was in the book, but I didn't like him. And I hated how Becca acted around him, it really bothered me. But over all the book was very good, and I can not wait to read the next one.
