James and Bianca’s tumultuous story continues in the sequel to In Flight.
James has initiated Bianca into a dark and drugging world of passion and pain. He taught her about her own submissive, masochistic nature, and she fell swiftly and deeply in love with the undeniably charming and impossibly beautiful Mr. Cavendish, but a painful misunderstanding and the return of the brutally violent demon of her past have combined to overwhelm Bianca, and, confused and hurt, she pushes him away.
It’s been over a month since the shocking attack that hospitalized her, and since she told a distraught James that she needed space, but her feelings haven’t gone away. Even she knew that it was only a matter of time before he would cast his spell on her again.
Mile High wasn't as good as the first one. Actually in my opinion it was only okay.
This one is about James trying to get Bianca back, and showing her that he wants her in his life.
I was really frustrated that we never really saw them talk about what happened to make them part to begin with. Then Bianca was constantly saying that James did really want her. I get her being insecure but it was like she took it to a whole new level.
And I hate the fact that they keep coming back to the same problem his ex lovers. That's exactly what they are, ex's. I really hated that.
The best part of the book was the end. I can not wait to see what happens next. But this one got slightly boring after a while. And I felt like things were just repeating themselves.
