With the werewolves fighting a political battle to gain acceptance from the public, Mercy fears Adam’s disappearance may be related—and that he and the pack are in serious danger. Outclassed and on her own, Mercy may be forced to seek assistance from any ally she can get, no matter how unlikely.
The day after Thanksgiving, while Mercy and her stepdaughter Jesse are out shopping, the pack gets kidnapped. And it's not just a few from the pack it is the whole pack except for Mercy and Jesse.
Mercy has to ask her friends for help to find Adam, and every one else. But one of the pack dies while she's trying to find them. Alot of things happen in this book. While we are trying to figure out how to save Adam, and who wanted to kidnapped the pack and for what purpose. We get to see things from Adam's point of view.
I really enjoyed getting to see things from Adam's point of view. It wasn't a lot but a few chapters it was nice. I really like Adam a lot more now after reading his part. And I really loved the ending. I loved how Mercy stuck her neck out for others when it wasn't her place but she knew she could help.
Overall this book was really good. And I hate that I have to wait till the next one comes out. I can not wait to read it. This is a really good paranormal series that just constantly keeps me guessing, and wanting more.
