Ellie Brooks has spent the past two years of her life building barriers around herself that are guaranteed to keep people out and her demons in. She doesn't want to get close to anyone for fear of being hurt again. When she meets Latin superstar Victor Garza, she is shocked at how quickly he is able to penetrate her armor. She doesn't want to let him in but can't deny the chemistry they have. He has the potential to heal her wounds and open her heart but she isn't sure she can let him. Will love be enough to keep them together or will Ellie's past prove to be too much for the pair to overcome?
Translation Of Love was overall an okay story. Definitely not a great book, but it was okay. It's about Ellie meeting a Latin superstar Victor by chance, and they soon start a fast paced romance. But Ellie has a past that lead to a broken heart now she's not so sure if she should trust Victor or not. And there are many factors and people who want to sabotage their relationship. Victor was a really nice character. I loved how he was an alpha male who wasn't afraid to go after what he wanted. And he knew instantly he wanted Ellie. Ellie however was not that great of a character. She really got on my nerves, and I wasn't able to connect with her at all during the book. I think for some this book will probably really good, but it just wasn't the book for me. It is really hard to like a book if you can not connect with it, and I seriously couldn't connect with the characters at all. So my overall opinion is it was okay.
