Amber Walker and her older brother, Jake, have an abusive father. One night her brother's best friend, Liam, sees her crying and climbs through her bedroom window to comfort her. That one action sparks a love/hate relationship that spans over the next eight years.
Liam is now a confident, flirty player who has never had a girlfriend before. Amber is still emotionally scarred from the abuse she suffered at the hands of her father. Together they make an unlikely pair.
Their relationship has always been a rocky one, but what happens when Amber starts to view her brother's best friend a little differently? And how will her brother, who has always been a little overprotective, react when he finds out that the pair are growing closer? Find out in The Boy Who Sneaks In My Bedroom Window.
The Boy Who Sneaks In My Bedroom Window is a story about a girl who was abused by her father throughout most of her childhood, and the only thing that helped her deal with it was Liam sneaking into her bedroom window to hold her while she cried. The story continues from then on showing how much Liam loves Amber, even though she has yet to notice yet. Then they finally get together as a couple, just as things from Amber and Jake's past come back to haunt them. I really enjoyed this book, it was good. However there were a few things that just sort of bugged me. Like first the grammatical, and spelling errors. Then some stuff in the story just bothered me, but it added a little bit of drama too it, so I can understand where the author was coming from. If you like books that have abuse, and romance in them for young adults then I recommend this book for you!
